Terms of Service

1. The service

Carvin is an operational standards and training platform for hospitality teams. Access is provided to organizations under a subscription agreement, and to their team members through accounts created or invited by the organization. You must use the service in compliance with applicable law and your organization’s policies.

2. SMS program description

Carvin sends transactional SMS messages to team members whose organization has added their mobile number. These messages are limited to:

• Invitation messages: a link inviting you to join your organization’s Carvin workspace.
• Login codes: one-time verification codes used to sign in securely to your account.

3. Consent

By providing your mobile number to Carvin or to your organization for use in Carvin, or by requesting a login code, you consent to receive account-related SMS messages from Carvin at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carvin does not send marketing or promotional SMS.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You will typically receive one invitation message when you are added to a workspace and one code each time you sign in with SMS verification.

5. Carrier fees

Message and data rates may apply. Fees are charged by your mobile carrier according to your plan. Carvin is not responsible for carrier charges or delays. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Help and opt-out (STOP / HELP)

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. Note that opting out of SMS may prevent you from using SMS login codes; you can still sign in with your email address.

For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us through carvinapp.com/contact. You can also ask your organization’s administrator to remove your mobile number.

7. Privacy

Your phone number and personal data are handled according to our Privacy Policy, available at carvinapp.com/privacy. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

8. Acceptable use and accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You may not misuse the service, attempt to access other organizations’ data, or use the platform to send unlawful or unsolicited communications.

9. Changes and contact
